If you withdraw from a trip for any reason after you make your deposit and your place cannot be filled by someone on the waiting list, you are liable for any costs incurred. The Club will do its utmost to recover expenses and these will be refunded. If your place is filled by someone on the waiting list, you will get your money refunded after they have paid. If you find someone to replace you on the trip, you will receive a refund after they have paid.
All other refunds will be made only after all trip bills have been paid by the Treasurer.
If we cancel a trip due to circumstances beyond our control, we will do our best to recover all funds paid out and pass them along to those on the trip. When we are considering cancelling a trip, we will do our best to contact all trip participants to notify them of the situation and allow them to assist in the decision of whether to cancel or not.
If you do not make your final payment on time, you could lose your reservation to a person on the waiting list. The date is announced far enough ahead of time on the initial announcement so that there is no reason to be late. Payment can always be made prior to that date.
